Amelia Island's Fernandina Beach brings to mind a more graceful bygone era. Recently named one of the top 12 vacation destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, it is a community that cherishes and preserves it past.


One of only a few undeveloped barrier islands left along the Atlantic Coast, Big Talbot Island offers a unique view into Florida's pre-European past.


Nestled on a high wooded bluff between two lakes that are fed by the St. Johns River, Crescent City is a reflection of Florida's bygone Victorian opulence. The grandeur of the town, coupled with its unmistakable southern charm, gives visitors a generous taste of mid-19th-century Florida.

DeLand has a rich cultural and educational heritage. The downtown area is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and features a nationally award winning Main Street. The history of DeLand is told through a series of murals that takes the viewer through an unfolding story of the community.
